Fine Art/R Lindstrom Canvas

Question
Canvas
Canvas
I inherited this piece when my Mother passed away a few years ago. It is a stretched canvas signed R Lindstrom.  It's dimensions are 35x49.  The paint is textured and not smooth as I would expect a print to be.  The back has the number 16 in a circle in pencil on the back.  Thanks! Becki

Answer
Dear Rebecca,

The artist of your painting is the same as the artist of this painting:

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Fine-Art-3122/2009/3/estate-find.htm

and this painting:

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Fine-Art-3122/2008/1/Oil-canvas-R-Lindstrom.htm

Regrettably I can't find any information on the artist, and I would agree with the opinion suggested in the link that it is a 'furnishing painting'.

Kind Regards,
Tim
