Question
Hello Andrew, I have a painting that I inherited and I was wondering if it has any value? Renoir pink & blue. Front right corner is sighned in cursive "Renoir 81." Thank you.

Answer
Hello Cindy,

As only one unique original version of this painting exists in the  São Paulo Museum of Art, it is unlikely that your work is an original.  My guess would be that it is a reproduction of some sort created after the image of the original painting.  It is difficult to know more without an image.  Please feel free to send over a picture if possible, and I can see if I can be of further assistance.

Best,

Andrew Evans
