Question
how can you tell if you have a valuable monet or rockwell painting?

Answer
Hello Mattie,

Unfortunately, there are so many copies and forgeries out on the market these days that the only way to know for certain whether your work is an authentic and valuable Monet or Rockwell is to have the current expert on these artist's works evaluate the artwork.  Below please find the contact information for the current expert on Monet's works:

Wildenstein Institute
57, rue La Boetie
75008 Paris France
T: +33 (0)1 45 61 61 61
F: +33 (0)1 45 61 61 45
E: wildenstein.institute@wanadoo.fr

I am not certain about the current expert on Rockwell's works by I can recommend contacting the Norman Rockwell Museum for recommendations/more information.

I hope that this information can be of some assistance.

Warm Regards,

Andrew Evans
