I have 2 paintings signed by Tatton Winter. They are watercolours. I have the original invoice as well dated 1948 purchased from PT Humphrey, Three Bridges, Sussex. Is it possible to get some idea of worth? They are not in perfect condition. Thanks Lesley.

Answer
Dear Lesley,

The works are by William Tatton Winter and upon doing some research his watercolors sell at auction between $100-$1,000 depending on size and intricacy. Yours I would value in the middle given condition, but the coloring is wonderful compared to others I've seen when researching:

The best would be to take them into a local auction house on a free appraisal day to get the true value, but hopefully that answers your question.
