Question
Hi I have an opportunity to buy a Picasso lithograph and was wondering what it is worth before I buy. Here's what it says on the back...
Certified...MARIE THERESE COI GONITI APPOGGIATI AL TA VOLO
by artist Picasso was created at Yon Gallery & Art Printing with all the following specs:
Edition: Code 2143
Edition: size 5000
Medium: Orig Litho w/ blind embossing
Image size: 11.5x13.5"
Paper size: 14.75x14.75"

Any help you could give me would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time

Answer
Hi Brett,

Based on this information, this work sounds like a reproduction - not an original print by Pablo Picasso.  The edition # is very high and the translation makes it appear as though Yon Gallery printed the work. It is very difficult to know without seeing an image. If you do have a picture available, please do send it so that I may be of further assistance.

If this work is a reproduction, it would have no real collectible value (decorative value only) and probably would not be worth more than a few hundred dollars at the most.

Best of luck,
