Fine Art/Is my Miro an Original??

Hello... I recently purchased this amazing Joan Miro at an online auction where the selling company didn't even know what they had since they listed it as 'Signed by Artist'! Didn't even know it was Miro... But none the less, I'm very happy to own it.

Here is why I question if it's an original or not...

1) It is Pensil Signed!
2) I can see pen/Pensil indentation markings on the paper!
3) The coloring doesn't always fill all the way into the lines, which leads me to believe it cannot be a print of some sort?

Please... Help me determine what I'm looking at and if the above is accurate reason to believe it's an original?!

PS.. Am I only able to upload two photos??

This service is limited when it comes to uploading images. My email address is  Please email images and any documents or anything written on the back of the piece. I have sold limited edition hand signed Miro in the past, they are usually low editions printed on paper (old style lithographs) and Miro would hand sign in pencil lower right. You might have the real thing but I suspect it is a copy or something along those lines, an original Miro has high value so most are protected by their owners and are insured.

I can answer questions about Salvador Dali. While I cannot do FREE APPRAISALS, I might be able to help you sell your works. I can also help with Chagall, Miro, Picasso and other 20th Century Masters.

Questions about a type of art or medium can be answered with one response in most cases. Technical issues are easier to deal with than specifics about an artist. If you need help finding values or history on an artist, it will probably involve research that can sometimes take hours to complete. If you have more than one image to send, I will give you an alternate email address as this system cannot handle multiple images.
