Question

I have 2 pictures of a warrior on an arabian horse.  It is a landscape of  a rifleman.  These are 2 diffeent pictures but of the same subject.  they are signed by Adolph Schreyer.  How can I determine if they are originals or reproductions.  They were gifts and we have had them over 30 years. Can you identify the pictures.  One appears to be a Chieftan and the other picture a Bedouin.

Answer
Hello Shirley,  You probably own reproductions for they are very common.  Are they behind glass?  If not are they painted on canvas or board?   What size are they?  Did you look at them with a magnifying glass to determine if they are originals or prints?

Cheers, Brent
