|Comment||Dolly , I cannot thank you enough for your guidance and value your suggestions. The first time I chose your name, by chance, and you responded in so timely a manner, I thought I was so lucky . My coming back to you three more times with three new names to research, and your three subsecquent responses ,convinces me that I hit the Jackpot. How can I every thank you . Indeed , on the Stellmacher bust, I will have the Power Seller on Ebay , place a reserve and expose it internatonally. In the oinion of the appraiser at the Antiques Road show clearly indicated to me that it should be offered internationally. His feeling being that it would have better appreciation and acceptance in that market. Having gone to the Antiques Roadshow in Philadelphia (my hometown), I must admit it was NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. It was bedlam, not at all as it appears on TV. Alltho, I am glad that my Sheick got a review by a nice good looking young man. I think it was Nicolas Dawes....altho I cannot be sure that was his name. I also think he had an English Accent. It was so hard to speak or even hear what the appraisers were saying. People were herding and hovering around the table....With a lot of pushing and shoving into and out of line. It was very, very noisy. Thousands of people were in our Convention Hall. All of whom were talking at once. A real cacophony of sound. Clearly though, he was really, really impressed by the bust and mentioned the value here is difficult $1800 , but strongly suggested it should be offered elsewhere. It did not reflect its true value. This all happened within 5 minutes. Waves of people were at that table. Eating fresh pretzels and hot dogs. NOT LIKE IT'S ON TV....... I will send you a picture of the Sheik. The Power Broker from Ebay is coming to my home on May 8th. I will be happy to keep you advised of anything noteworthy. I wll contact the two web sites you so kindly sent me for which I thank you.|
