I RECENTLY ACQUIRED A PORTRAIT OF J. CAMPBELL PHILLIPS. 17X21 FRAME.iT IS A PORTRAIT OF A CHILD4-5 YRS OLD WITH CURLY HAIR. UNKNOWN IF BOY OR GIRL, DRESSED IN A MARINER/ SAILOR SHIRT.i AM NOT AWARE OF THE MARKET VALUE. bUT i AM CONSIDERING SELLING IT. The PORTRAIT DOES HAVE A SIGNATURE.

Dear David, Paintings by John Campbell Phillips generally sell in the $1,500 area, some have sold for $5,000 and $10,000. You can send info and images to any of the auction houses that sell fine art such as: William Doyle, Butterfields, Skinner, Grogan, etc. Not Sotheby's or Christie's as they want more expensive art.
