Fine Art/i.d a painting
"Collecting, buying, selling, identifying, and caring for paintings, drawings, and watercolors (19th and early 20th century American and European). No prints, contemporary art, or works executed after 1940"
BELOW is my original question. I am confused as to how you respond by telling me this is out of your expertise? you clearly state you can help with identifying. I am a fine art graduate, the sketch i can supply is not of match stick men.
I am very happy to have found this site. I have been carrying out numerous
internet searches in order to id a painting I have seen a print of. Perhaps you
will allow me to email you a sketch i have made of it to help. Sadly I know not
the artist or picture title hence the agony! I am unable to contact the person
who has the print. the original picture in question is an oil. It is a
landscape, a steep sloping hill toward the looker with woodland either side. On
the horizon are a male, female and a child outlined by the light. At the bottom
of the hill runs a rabbit. The light is poor which gives the painting a
wonderful atomosphere. As said i would like to email you a sketch which may
help. I cant tell you how appreciative I would be as would dearly love a copy.
with best regards
Kevin, To "disconfuse" you, I identify paintings for many hundreds of people from their digital images. You expect me to identify a painting from a drawing you create from memory of a print ( an iterpretation of this print which itself is an interpretation of a painting).
Sorry, besides your writing is sadly, agonizing and overly dramatic.
