Fine Art/Aldo Luongo charcoal

I have the same piece of art, purchased in 1970 or 1971 in Portland, Oregon.  So, I guess neither of us have an original Luongo.  I'm also curious to know what the value may be.  It measures about 30"x40".  I believe I paid $50 for it and that included the frame.  I love it just as much as I did when I first purchased it.

I too have this same charcoal drawing.  It is a gift from my mother who tells me that mine is an original.  It apparently is numbered.   There is some info on the back of my frame on a small card.  It comes from the "Gallery Collection" and is titled "First Love."  I haven't been able to find any information on this piece or whether or not it is a true original.   The only way I found you is through Google Goggles on my phone.  For myself I would like to find out its worth so that I can insure it.

I think your charcoal is part of the group of his prints retailed by the Broadway Department stores by special contract in the 1970s.  These were large editions and I, too, would like to learn the value of them.  If you have any recent info, pls contact.

I have the identical Charcoal Print in the identical frame.  I purchased it and another similar Charcoal Print in 1975 from a small Marina Del Rey, CA Gallery.  This is Aldo Lunogo's first art work before he painted eyes and color.

I was recently gifted a piece very similar to this one. I love it but would like to find out how much it's worth. I was advised to have it insured.

I have a signed version of same piece that Aldo did. Mine is signed and numbered 23. My Father bought it directly in1969 and paid $350 then.

I own the original. Had it for more than 45 years. Sorry to break your heart. If more proof is needed, please feel free to contact me.
