Alejandro,  the 2 prints you have are etchings not serigraphs, there are 4 different prints, done in the early 60's in London, England.  There is a serigraph in the Victoria and Albert Museum collection, London which has quite a lot of etching, a victorian gothic letter 'M and also' Miriam' and is a self portrait, done in 60's London.

You might be interested to see the 4 serigraphs in the Library of Congress.

The prints that you mention with the playing card images-were made in London

in the 60's . Miriam was my mother...if I remember correctly the prints are etchings-or etching Serigraph combo...could be wrong. I think MH did them at the Slade School of fine art where she was a visiting artist for  a short period before becoming a lecturer in Printmaking at Central School of Fine Art London. Also besides being in the Library of Congress Collection- she is also in the print collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
