I have an original signed Henry Lewis landscape pastel in what appears to be
the original frame.Do you have any idea of what it maybe worth.Any info would
be appreciated thanks Greg

Answer
Dear Gregory, I found listings for two artists named "Henry Lewis", neither which would be your artist. I think your pastel came from the Chandler studio. William Henry Chandler (1854-1928)created thousands of pastel landscapes. His business orders were so numerous that he employed a stable of artists who made his pastels and signed the "Chandler" name, sometimes their own names. As this business was very prosperous other artists opened pastel studios and most are not well known. "Chandlers" sell from $100 to $300, 0ccasionally and exceptional one will reach $1,000.
Cordially,
Dan
