Question
Are watercolors by Julie Dunn (1899) very valuable?

Answer
Dear Mike, There is not much information on your artist Julia E. Dunn (1839-1923). She was a landscape painter and lived in New York City and San Francisco. I could only find a price range for her paintings at $200 to $500. This does not make sense to me as early California landscapes are very desireable, unless her work is just terrible. I would suggest you contact Butterfield's auction in California or North Point Gallery in San Francisco.
Cordially,
Dan
