Fine Art/watercolor by raoul dufy

I have a painting by dufy, ihave gone to catalogue raisonne by maurice lafaille and did not find the painting but did find signatures and i am sure the signatures match so how do i find if it is orginal?

Dear Theresa, There are numerous fake Raoul Dufy watercolors, and many reproductions that are difficult to distinguish from a watercolor. You will have to contact the Dufy expert who wrote the catalogue, or you could offer to sell it at Sotheby's or Christie's and they would probably do the research. And then again as there are so many fakes they may not bother if it is not in the catalogue raisonne.
