Question I will be in Helsinki with my wife 26 - 31 December this year. Can we expect snow?
I know the Ateneum, the Opera House, the winter and botanical gardens, the Urho Kekkonen Museum, Kaupungin Taidemuseo, and some other things. But what I would really like to know is if there are commercial galleries where I could see Finnish the work of Finnish printmakers that would be open between those dates. I have as yet only found one in Uudenmaankatu (Artteemu)

Currently there are snow in southern Finland so you can expect snow, there is no guarantee though the snow will stay but it is highly probable there will be snow.

Unfortunately both Yellow pages are in Finnish, but clicking in the Yhteystiedot (= contact details) you should be able to find out more about the companies in question.
I also added a page with a listing of various artgallleries and museums from the Helskinkguide which unfortunately also is in Finnish. It might be frustrating just to click on links but without knowing what they say but clicking on the name you get more detailed info and you might be lucky to find a homepage in English as well.
