Question
Hi, I am currently a Journeyman Pipefitter. However, I always wanted to be a fireman. With the bad economy, now is a perfect time to pursue my dream. How can I become a fire fighter in Puerto Rico?

Answer
Hi!

Here's the link to the Puerto Rico Fire Department: http://www.bomberos.gobierno.pr/

The following link provides the minimum requirements. Be advised that this is an old (2008) document. You will definitely want to contact the agency for updated information. You can call at (787)343-2330.

I hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Gustavo E. Flores
