What are the dangers of heimlick maneuver?

Answer
The 1st concern would be not dislodging whatever is stuck in the person's throat. As far as dangers: the possibility of bruising internal organs, improper hand placement can cause internal organ damage. The last 2 things very seldom happen, but could. Mostly the person ends up with a sore abdomen if the maneuver has to be repeated several times.
