Question
HI, I'm an 8th that goes to a school in Texas. Recently i have started having a crush on a 7th grade girl. All my friends say that asking a 7th grader is a desperate approach to find girls, but i disagree. I am very shy, so i can't ask her out but we very good friends, how can i ask her out, and what should i do on the first date?

Answer
Hi Mark,

I found your question in the question pool, which means you asked someone to answer but they couldn't for some reason. So they put your question in the question pool for someone else to answer it. So anyway, I hope I can help out. I am in Texas too! First of all, I usually recommend people to date with another couple or with a group to start out. That way, it doesn't put too much pressure on you and it's a little more casual and not so awkward as one-on-one dating. Does anyone do that around there? Did you mean that you are good friends already? Good ideas for dating with others are miniature golf, bowling, bicyling, shopping, treasure hunt and/or picnic and I have lots of other ideas. Please ask me a followup question about if you are friends already and what you think of my advice.
