yes course you should sit next to him,and if he holds his hand for you to hold then take his hand. Do not worry about anyone else,or what they think. remember you and him are dating now, so just think about yourselves not other people(of course,that don't mean you can can disrespect others around you). QUESTION: I feel i could love him, but i don't think i'm ready yet. i've only been in love once, but i think i ended up loving that guy more like a brother than a boyfriend, so i broke up with him (then i started to go out with this guy about 5 months after). this guy is sending me mixed signals! now he has almost completely stopped talking to me, and i asked him what was up, and he said he didnt want to talk to me around my friends! should i break up with him cause he doesnt like my friends??

hon, when the guy gets to a stage,where he gets all mixed up,as he is clearly doing;his brain is not working correctly,because he wants to go on with dating you,but feels ,perhaps your friends don't like him or he thinks that they think you can do better. Paige, i would speak to him alone, and ask him what he wants to do, but speak to him alone.
