Question My goldfish has kept her eggs inside for a while. two years later she has spread them upon my tank. they are all in the plants. How long does it take for them to develop?...How do i know that my male goldfish fertilized them?
Thank You.

Answer Hello K -
If you are certain you have a male and female fish and they were in the same tank at the time of the spawing, you can be pretty certain some of the eggs are fertilized. To double check, remove the eggs to a breeding basket or separate container, and look at them after a few days. Solid white eggs are unfertilized, and clear see-through eggs are fertilized.
