Question
hello Tina,
I am interested in purchasing a marine aquarium and I'm not sure off all the duties it has. My dad says it'll be to hard and I want to know why? All the saltwater experts are away and you said you had a saltwater, so I was hoping you could help. I would like to know what duties i will have and how often i will need to do them.
Thanks Brady!

Answer
Brady,                                                                 Most of the people that say  have never kept them or have tried to do it in small tanks. IT is all about the filtration . I have 125 gallon trop salt and 45 aggressive. I clean my 125 about every 3 months. The other a little more often because of what they eat. Live fish. The biggest inconveniences is mixing the salt in a separate container and checking the specific gravity while I am filling my tank. Other than cleaning the corals with a toothbrush cause they can break and they are expensive and can't be cleaned like the deco in a fresh tank....I find it is a more stable ecosystem. Like I said it is all about the filtration. Definitely canisters filters and undergavels with power heads. Please get back to me about how big you are going I will tell you everything you need.  Tina
