Question Hi. I have a Betta and I am planning to put him in a 29 gallon and I want to know can I use a Aqua Clear 20 or do I have to get the Aqua Clear 30 because of the current. What do you use to control your current on your Aqua Clears? Thanks Linda
Answer Hi Linda,
An Aquaclear 200 would do just fine with your betta. You don't need to control the current. Make sure that when you put him into his new home that your ammonia, nitrites, are zero, and the nitrates low. When the water chemistry is perfect, do water changes of 25% every week, and check to be sure that the water is always free of ammonia.
