Question please help me i want to get my fishes pregnant and im really desperate. i have a pair of tinfoil barbs, a pair of white mollys, a baby orange molly ,pair of black shark, some kind of orange striped fish(i dont know the name)pair of tiger fish, pair of blue striped zebra fish and a pair of white striped zebra fish they suddenly get their stomach fat and the next day it goes of. and some fishes get very hungry so i dont know whether they eat the eggs of.
Answer Hi Amala,
All these fish except for the mollies are egg scatterers. The eggs would be eaten in no time. The mollies are livebearers, and the babies too would be eaten quickly.
To breed these fish, a couple should be in a tank of their own. You would have to observe them 24/7 and the tank should be well planted with either silk or real plants. To house all the fish you have, you must have a very big tank. Tin foils get very big, and need space to swim.
All of these fish in the same tank, you definitely would not be able to breed them. They would eat the eggs, and fry.
