Can a betta fish sting a person? If so how can you help the sting?

Answer
Hello Kara-

Betta fish can bite, but they can't sting.
Betta bites cannot break the skin, however, since bettas are so small. If you think you have been bitten, rinse the area with water and wash well with soap. Bettas aren't poisonous, but I have no idea what the chemical properties of fish saliva are. :)
