Question I have 4 fish and 3 of the 4 keep chasing the one and keep nudging it why is that
Answer Hello Kate-
The one being chased may be a female ready to lay eggs, or it may be a runt. When fish are crowded, they pick out the smallest and try to chase it away to make it less crowded - You should be keeping the fantails in at least a 15 gallon tank (unless they are smaller than 2" long.)
