Question Hi! I have two balloon mollies, both female.. the black one gave birth to two fries, which is about two months old now, the other white balloon molly has a big tummy (bigger than the black molly even when it didn't gave birth yet) but still she wont lay fries. The black molly gave birth when they were still in a fish bowl, then I bought a new aquarium. Is that the possible factor why my white molly wont lay fries? Both of them were joined with male mollies at the petshop where I bought them.
Thanks!
Answer Audrey, She may not be pregnant. It is hard to tell with balloon mollies, but with your white one you should be able to see her gravid spot. It will be behind her anal fin and if she is pregs it will be black.Good Luck,Tina
