Question Hi,
My Betta (Gatsby) is about a year and a half old. Recently he started getting very very sensitive towards light. Whenever I turn the light off in my room to go to sleep he starts swimming in circles really fast, swimming into the wall of the tank and shaking. Then he'll be upside for a while or lay on the bottom of the tank, struggling to get up. After a while he is fine. What can I do to stop this from happening? I hate watching him go crazy!!! I'm always scared he is doing to die.
Answer Well hes probably nearing the end of his life as fish act strange the closer they are to death. Try moving to a bigger tank as he will have less of a chance of hitting the tank and calm down faster. Also put some plants in with the tank and some some BIO coat in the tank.
