Fish & Seafood/shrimp

Question
How long can I freeze cooked shrimp for?  How about raw frozen shrimp?

Answer
Hi Gladys,

Thanks for your question!

Raw frozen shrimp can be safely frozen for up to six months, but after three months the quality may deteriorate and they may get tougher. As for cooked shrimp, it does not freeze as well as the raw and I wouldn't freeze it more than one month. I hope this was helpful.
