I have a "Golden gate" rod, but I can't find any info on the web. Are you familiar with this?

Hi Michael,

Sorry, I have not been able to locate anything on this rod. I did see an obscure reference to a Golden Gate Tackle Company, but couldn't find any details.

Looks like an older fiberglass rod. It is possible it was made by another company for a sporting goods store in the San Francisco area.

You might locate an online discussion forum in California that deals with fiberglass rods and post a question about the rod. Perhaps someone will remember it.
