Question
I recently came across 2 vintage fishing rods. The only information on the rods is a sticker that says "NFG" National, Rods of distinction. Model 702. I've been trying to find information online about the rods with no luck. Do you know anything about these? Or perhaps could direct me to someone that might? Just interested in the history. Thanks

Answer
J,

I am not familiar with the name, if you can send some photos, I might be able to help.

From a collectors stand point, the main interest is in high quality flyrods, particularly custom made split bamboo flyrods made in the US.

Casting, spinning and surf rods dont sell as well.
