Question i only know onething about grass carp that they mostly feed on grass so to hook them what bait should i use?
Answer Hi Gurung,
I have never fished for them myself but I know people who have. They aren't prevalent to many areas of the United States.
The most popular bait is plain canned or frozen corn fished under a small float just under the surface about 8"' to 12". Put four or six kernels on a hook. I have also heard of using a small cherry or grape sized tomato without any weight on the surface.
Other than that, they are difficult to catch on a hook and line due to their diet.
Good luck. I hear they are a lot of fun once you hook them.
