Fishing/HANDLE WON'T CRANK ON PENN

Question
I bought my daughter a small rod Penn spinning reel. We went fishing last week end and it worked just fine. We went fishing today and the handle acts liked it is locked. It will not crank. It casts fine we just cannot reel the line back in. What are we doing wrong? Thanks Lisa

Answer
First check to see if your reverse reel is fully engaged or just half way.  Then if it is not, take it to a nearby tackle shop and ask them to JUST LOOK AT IT.  Make sure to tell them that so they don't charge you anything until they find what's wrong.
