Question
I found what I believe to be a vintage Heddon rod and reel in my attic . I cant seem to find any info the specific model on the internet. It says, Heddon Pal #7545 - 6' 3"  Special Purpose. The reel says Heddon ,
#248. Any info as to age and value would be much appreciated. Appears to be in pretty good condition. Don't really see much wrong with it. Thanks in advance, Nancy

Answer

Heddon introduced their Pal rod line in 1954 and made it thru the 60s. The reel is a spinning reel.

The rod would sell for $15-30 depending on condition, more if its mint with the case. The reel is in the $5-10 range.

You can post a question on fiberglass flyrod site for a second opinion on the rod
