QUESTION: HiChris, Thank you for you help,  it was an untreated solid oak thick floor nailed down down we put two coats of sadolin Floor Oil.  Libby

Answer
Elizabeth,

I googled the product ...they are UK based , I suggest that you contact them to find out what they recommend for removal. Other than that it sounds like the oil is not absorbing totally due to previous products /sealers. For now I would attempt to wipe/buff the excess and eliminate any tracking / footprints while it has a chance to cure out.

As I looked and read about the product I noticed that they do not have a toll free number or I would have called them myself. Where are you located?

Chris
