Question wondering what hard wood flooring goes with rough ceader walls
Answer Depends on the rest of the house. I have rough cedar walls and went with a Mannington maple that is honey stained. The warm color complimented the cedar. And I wanted the clear modern look of the maple. It's drop dead gorgeous.
I considered also a red oak for same reason. My husband liked a pine with a honey stain-- but I wanted -- again, a more modern look. I didn't like the pronounced grain.
We could have also gone darker. The trend is toward darker tones. So, there are many options depending on the rest of your home furnishings and style.
