Flooring and Carpeting - new wood floor in kitchen

Expert: Haven Hardwoods - 6/6/2009

Question
Should the new wood floor under my new cabinet depth refrigerator have been stained along with the rest of the flooring? The refrigerator was placed in kitchen before staining, so under it is raw wood.

Answer
Lois,

Yes, the wood should be stained and sealed to protect it.  We try to have the fridge out of the kitchen so we can sand where it was at.
