QUESTION: what grout to you reccomend so i can keep natural look, and since i have already sealed the tile does this present a problem and if so how do i rectify it?
Answer Hello and thank you for contacting The Grout Dye Company in NY.
You can use any grout by any grout manufacturer.
Simply tell the tile store what type of tile you have an the grout joint width and they will make a recommendation for a grout color and the use of Sanded or Un sanded grout.
I personally like Sanded grout for tumbled marble.
For any size grout joint and for wall or floor, since it has a better texture then Un-Sanded grout.
Being that you pre sealed the stone, it is good for the installation, the grout will clean up easier and not stain the travertine.
Also, I am curious to how you came to do this installation yourself and no one recommended or told you that you needed grout to fill in the joints?
Thank you;
