Flooring and Carpeting/Steam cleaned a rug and now it buckles

I have been cleaning carpets since 1980 Unfortunatly if the ripple or buckle did not go down after cleaning and drying it is not the cleaning that created the buckle. There are several factors that go in to buckling and ripples.

1. High humidity in the home.

2. Improper installation of the Carpet (meaning the installer did not use a power stretcher, only a kicker)

3. Age of carpet also applies as carpet will stretch out after time also depending on moisture and humidity in the home.

To fix this the carpet needs to be re-streched properly.
