Question hello,
have a Compaq Presario with Windows XP.I try to access my floppy to upload pics and the computer goes black,shuts down and then restarts.I've tried different USB,floppies but still the same.I can go to the floppy but as soon as the disc is entered the screen goes blank immediately.I've tried the floppy in my sons and daughters computer and works fine there.Have reloaded the driver,cleared files,security updates and more-still the same.What do you think?

Hi,
If this problem problem occurs only with a particular floppy, it should be damaged and your floppy drive may found it erroneous to read further and caused troubles.
As you told it works well with other computers, i guess the problem is with the floppy drive. Changing the floppy drive rather than device drivers may help you.
