Question Good Morning,
I will be getting married in the summertime and was hoping to have the Texas Bluebonnett and Indian Paintbrush flowers in the wedding. My Bridesmaid dresses are Navy Blue, and the Maid of Honor will wear Apple red. Would this be ok for a color scheme and if so how should the floral arrangement be? Any suggestions.
Answer Dear Sara
Sorry for the delay in replying.
Congratulations on your wedding.
I am based in the U.K and because of this, sadly I have not heard of the flowers you mention. They sound really exciting.
Your colour scheme reminds me of the fields of corn, with the red poppies and the deep blue cornflowers, which we see over here. White ox eye daisies also partner these.
Had you thought of perhaps adding some white, like the daisy and maybe some heads of corn to make a really beautiful country bouquet?
Red anemones, blue cornflowers, single white chrysanthemums, and some pieces of corn would be our equivalent over here I suspect.
