Question
Hi, I wrote to this service before, to Tom I believe, and i never got a responce. I wanted to cover the foo fighters song, X-Static, song 10 on the debut, and put it on my bands album. how should i go about getting permission to do this? Thanks. Mike

Answer
Buddy if you are a real musician dont put a covered song onto your album. You should have your own music on it. I recommend you to use it as a b-side or something. But if you do end up using it on your album, contact RCA and try real hard to get in contact with their managment. But i doubt you will. And make sure you dont make money off another person's song. I could maybe forward the song to dave when you finish it, becuase i have contact with him.
