Food Engineering/Manufacturing - pet treats

Expert: Phil Bourque - 11/3/2009

Question
I am looking to make a line of pet treats that are medicianlly preventative (somewhat) to specific breed ailments......?

Answer
One of our first customers was a company called MedPharmex.
They are located in Pomona, CA.
They make animal pharmaceuticals, but they do not made food items.
If you want to make a food product for animals that has medicine in it, maybe MedPharmex can help you design & make a formula that can be added to your baking formula for treats. That would be pretty cool actually, but I bet your treats would have to be pretty expensive to make the project worth while.

Good luck.
