Food Safety Issues - hard boiled eggs

Expert: Carl Copeland - 4/18/2008

Question
Hi,

I made a lot of hard boiled eggs to serve 2-3 days later.  Is it safe to keep them still in their shells in a ziplock baggie until I'm ready to serve them?
Thanks, Jeanette

Answer
Jeanette,

How are you doing today?

The suggested refrigeration storage time for hard boiled eggs is 2-3 days storing them in a ziploc bag should be fine.
