Food Safety Issues/Listeria follow-up question

Hi Carl,
This is Natile again. I sent you a follow-up question to my listeria, hot dog juice on hands question earlier in the day, but never received an email receipt that it went through, so I'm sorry if you end up with several emails from me. I was just wondering if a made a difference that the hot dogs had been frozen for several months before they were put in my in-laws fridge to defrost? Also, when I washed my hands after getting the hot dog juice on them, I dried them with a hand towel and then re-rinsed them a second time and used the same hand towel to dry them again. Wasn't sure if either of those things made a difference, and if I should be worried. This is my first pregnancy and I have heard/read horrible things about pregnant women getting listeria. Thank you so much for your quick response on my first question I really appreciate it, and for all you help. Hope you had a good weekend. I look forward to hearing back from you.
        Thank You,

Sorry about the response delay. I have been away from my email. I already answered your question about the hot dogs being previously frozen. As far as your use of the hand towel a second time that would increase any risk. When you dry your hands you eliminate any potential for dangerous bacteria including Listeria to colonize your hands. Bacteria cannot reproduce or even exist for long on a dry surface. You will be fine.
