Food Safety Issues/Cookware question

Question
Hi Carol,
I am researching TP316L surgical stainless steel for the saladmaster cookware. I am having a hard time finding actual studies done on the SSS to see if it leaches its chromium and nickel to any extent (since it does contain both of those toxic elements).
If you have access to actual research or know where to lead me to find it, I would greatly appreciate it as I would like to find something user friendly and safe to cook with.
Thank you also for expressing you health concerns as the public need to be educated on what we are putting into our bodies!
