Question How long is homemade hummus good? It has the typical ingredients--
chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt. Also, what is the best
way to store tahini after it has been opened, and how long will it stay good?
Answer Hi Alison,
Hummus can be refrigerated in a closed container for up to 5 days and can be kept in the freezer in an air-tight container for up to one month.
If the hummus appears dry when you take it out of the refrigerator or freezer, you can add a little olive oil.
I hope you enjoy your homemade hummus. If you have additional questions, please let me know.
