Food Safety Issues - I left out bread pudding in the car all night.

Expert: Carl Copeland - 11/12/2007

Question
I left 2 pans of bread pudding (without the sauce) in the car all night. Early this morning, I re-refrigerated the pans. Do I need to throw it out? Or would it be safe to eat? Also, it was about 60 degrees last night. Thanks.

Answer
Julie,
How are you today?  I am not really concerned about the sauce. But I am concerned about the milk and eggs that I believed you used in the bread you used in the bread pudding. 60 degrees is a long shot from 40 degrees, I would personally not take a chance in eating it. Visit
