While it may not sound appetizing, dog and cat food is edible by humans. In fact, you can make your own dog biscuits with ingredients in your own kitchen.
If you read the label of hard dog biscuits you'll see they contain flour, fat, salt, yeast, etc -- the same ingredients used to make human cookies.
