Can Baba Ghanouj and hummus be frozen?
Hi Mary,
Yes, both baba ghonouj and hummus may be frozen, though you may notice some darkening of the product upon defrosting.
The key is to package the product in air-tight packages. Vacuum packaging works well as does freezer containers or bags.
